Ah ha ha ha! This is awesome. You’ve seen this “haters gonna hate” meme. Apparently, the quintessential “haters gonna hate” image/animation (above) was created by Omar Noory in Columbus, Ohio.
Omar and Jen Adrion are the designers behind These Are Things who make beautiful cartographic prints. Sadly, their Columbus Neighborhoods Map went out of print, before I could put one on my wall.
A few of you know I have this dapper gentleman above on my bag… and I’ve had no less than half a dozen people (usually around CCAD, downtown) say “OMG That’s awesome, do you know Omar?” And I smile and say “Yes but only though email.”
