(Side-note: Doesn’t it kind of feel like, if Hitler or Mussolini had grown up in Stark County, Ohio and had far less grandiose aspirations - instead of world domination and genocide, say, balancing the budget of the state’s 7th largest county - but retained their inflammatory and instigative way of address and decided to make a stab at that county’s treasurer’s seat, that it would look a bit like this? Or, alternatively, if their oafish, intellectually middling and awkwardly shy step-brother admired them from afar and decided to don their rhetorical flourish as a cloak to his insecurities as he ham-fistedly yelled his candidacy for that same position…Just saying.)
I’m sad to say he didn’t win the republican nomination. I can’t imagine why… I was a believer.
