Great Lakes Brewing Co. Oktoberfest
Alc/Vol: 6.5%Great Lakes is my all-time favorite brewery. I introduced my dad to Great Lakes after I spent a few years living in Ohio, and early last week he made a trip to the brewery and then came to visit and bought me a few treats. Among them: Oktoberfest. This is a very drinkable amber lager. If you like the Eliot Ness, you should like this. I don’t notice an extreme difference between the two to be honest, though this does have a tiny bit more of a hop bite and the alcohol content is a little higher. It’s smooth, with a great malt/slightly caramel flavor. You really can’t go wrong with anything from Great Lakes. I promise.
